Here’s everything you need to know before and after your session:
Your Santa Experience will take place at Summit Studio: 622 SW 3rd St. Suite G, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.
Parking is available in the lot directly in front of the studio. Plan to arrive about 5-10 minutes early, so your family has time to relax and settle in.
A restroom is available inside the studio. Feel free to stop in before your session so everyone is comfortable and ready for their magical moment.

The Santa Experience is Sunday, November 9th, 2025.
Not at this time. The number of days we book for The Santa Experience depends on the previous year’s demand, Santa’s availability, and the venue’s availability. If the Santa Experience is full and you’d like to book it, do two things: first: subscribe to Santa’s Nice List so you get notified next year as soon as booking opens. Second, please reach out to the studio to see if we can accommodate you for the current year.
Click any of the “Book Now” buttons on this page. You’ll select your preferred time slot, fill out some important info, checkout, and get a confirmation. Then, keep your eyes on your email inbox for more details!
Your fee reserves your specific time slot. Most of your fee goes to pay for the venue and to pay Santa. If you cancel, both of those still have to be paid, and therefore we must make it a non-refundable session.
If your child is sick on the day of the event, please text Melissa ASAP. Do not show up with a sick child. We can discuss the option of applying your fee to a future session.
Failure to show up for your session will result in a forfeiture of your fee.
The Santa Experience is different than any other Santa Claus experience. Your kids/pets are going to get to interact with Santa one-on-one. We’ve designed a magical set and tons of interactive points to create the most magical experience for your family, and give you photos of those priceless moments!
Please Note: these are 15-min sessions, booked back-to-back & we can’t go over into another client’s time, so arrive early & be ready to go!
That is ok! Sometimes, the photos will bring back an adorable memory for the both of you when the child is older. We have plenty of tricks up our sleeves, and have been doing this a while. There are some expert ways we can get some very neat shots without the child even knowing Santa is there. If this happens, give us the chance to work some Christmas magic to get you some great photos.
Be sure to be talking about Santa in a positive way in the months and weeks leading up to your session. Feel free to show them photos of other children having fun with Santa on The Santa Experience website. They can also make and bring Santa a homemade gift if they would like – Santa loves those, and it is a great confidence booster!
Another pro tip: EAT BEFORE YOU COME! A hungry child is not going to do well at a photo session. Set them up for success and eat before you arrive, and preferably before you dress them in their outfit for the session. 😉
Certainly! We will do 99% of the session with just the children, and then we will let you know when the time is for a quick family photo. This is usually toward the end of the session.

This year, the Santa Experience is going to be held in a photo studio that will be transformed into a fantasy Santa envirnment. Please note we have different locations each year to give families a variety and a different experience each year. The setting might look slightly different than the photos shown here, but just know that your child and pets will get to experience all the magic and interactivity and you’ll have photos and memories to cherish for years to come!

You pay for the experience in full at the time of booking.
When you purchase The Santa Experience package, it includes the magical experience itself, the secret bonuses and digital images from your experience. The number of images varies depending on subject cooperation, personality, etc.
In past years, we have used a live background, meaning every piece of the set is real, and not a photographic backdrop. THIS YEAR, is the econd yer we will be using a series of backdrops to further curate a fantasical look.
My goal is to get the images to you around December 1st. I do this to get them to you in plenty of time for you to use them in Christmas cards and Christmas gifts.
We do not recommend this, as it would not allow Santa time for individual interaction with each child at each magical point. However, if you would like to know if it would work for your specific situation, please reach out to Melissa directly to discuss.
